FLI Trade Show Booth Design

In congruence with the new logo and branding design developed while working with Finger Lakes Instrumentation, a new booth design for trade show application was requested.

Using the high-resolution photos in stock, and trade show booth dimension requirements, we developed a versatile branded design for a background banner display consisting of 3 vinyl banners for an standard 8' x 10' booth space, with an additional podium design.

This specific design was chosen due to its' adaptability for a range of booth sizes, and the ability to convert to a smaller size by removing one of the 3 background banners without sacrificing presentation.

Accompanying the new branding design of the product handouts designed earlier in the year, we were able to develop an engaging atmosphere for the FLI presentation as a professional, high-quality institute for imaging equipment.

For a more in-depth look into the high-quality FLI camera products, and a preview of their previous booth designs, feel free to watch the following video interview by Sky & Telescope Magazine.

Branding and Logo design for Binghamton Brewing Company

FLI Marketing Materials
Hopfest 2011

Within the span of two days during the Susquehanna River flood, I was able to design a logo for the up-and-coming local brew-pub, the Binghamton Brewing Company. Based on design brainstorming sessions with the two partners involved in the company, several design ideas were drafted in order for refined illustrations to be presented.

These designs were formed with the mission statement, intended atmosphere of the establishment, and basic services in mind.

This project was completed within an extremely tight deadline, and with very little resources. The end result being one that is "perfect" and "exactly what we wanted."

Remlik's WebRemlik's Website Design 2011

Accompanying the menu design for Remlik's, I was also the lead design and developer of the website.

Following the Remlik's branding standards, I designed a simple, functioning site to display their menu selection, photos of the space, online reservation feature, contact information, and social networking options.

This design is the reconstruction of their previous site that was unfinished by the hired designer.

Menu Design for Remlik's Restaurant in Binghamton, NY

Remlik's MenuRemlik's Grill recently opened in time for Binghamton restaurant week on 31 Lewis Street, Binghamton, New York 13901. I was lead designer for the look and feel, layout, and coordination with printers for their menus. The design for each menu was based on the items, and the dinning area for the meals. Remlik's is a new addition to the recently renovated Kilmer building, and it's atmosphere was reflected in the design of the menus which include dinner, wine list, and less-formal lunch, bar, and kids menu.

Marketing Materials for Finger Lakes Instrumentation (FLI)

FLI Marketing Materials
8.5” x 11” glossy product handouts, double sided

As a part of a freelance contract, I was the lead designer in creating several materials for FLI to promote specific products and services at an upcoming trade show.

I worked with a local representative, and a general manager remotely in Lima to create the written content, and design based on their target demographic and the previously used marketing materials.

FLI Marketing Materials
11” x 17” glossy company overview, half-fold, double sided

There were three specific product handouts, and one large company overview (11" x 17"), half-fold print out. The larger document was also intended to act as a folder to hold the product handouts while visiting the FLI booth.

The stellar photographs that were used in the designs were taken by FLI customers, with their permission, and utilized actual FLI products. This gave customers tangible examples of the quality photography that one can expect from the FLI products.

The goal was to better target their demographic audience by refining the content, and enhancing the visual layout and appearance of the materials.

Based on these designs, I was contracted to design and submit monthly magazine ads.

Thanks to all who helped fund my Haiti trip!

Haiti Partnership Team January 2011The volunteer trip to Haiti in January 2011 was a success! I wanted to thank those who participated in helping pay for the trip by purchasing my art and/or being freelance client.

Those who made a significant contribution will receive a personal letter from me, and a photo of our team at the work-site in Torbeck. While there, our team helped carry the dirt to be sifted for mortar, helped carry the bricks to make the walls, and helped build the walls of their new Methodist church.

ReRent Property Management Property and Service Promotion

ReRent Marketing Materials
5” x 7” glossy card stock generic commercial space advertisement, double sided

I designed a wide range of marketing materials to advertise and promote ReRent services and available properties.

This process included collaboration with the owner of the company to establish deliverables, and formalize an appropriate message for the demographic in question.

After design drafts are submitted, approved, and developed, I format the file(s) to the appropriate specifications, and coordinate with printer through the printing process.

All materials are designed based on the original branding to maintain company-wide imagery consistency.

ReRent Marketing Materials
4” x 9” glossy card stock commercial and residential rack cards, front and back

As a targeted advertising campaign for the student renters, the 4" x 9" rack cards were specifically designed to appeal to their demographic. The cards are distributed at Binghamton University, and to all tenants with contact information for Binghamton emergency services, local pizza and food options, and local venues for entertainment and activities.

The commercial 5" x 7" cards are distributed directly to potential commercial clients, and outline the basic and specialized property management services offered by ReRent Property Management and MH Enterprises, LLC.

The large format, 11" x 17" tri-fold was specifically designed to advertise the available, built to suit, dance studio. This brochure was distributed to local dance, martial arts, fitness, and yoga studios in the local Binghamton area.

It included high quality photographs of the space, information on the attributes and benefits of the space, floor-plan of the space, and details of available property management services.

ReRent Property Management Website and Online Property Database 2011

ReRent Old Website
Before Redesign

As the lead designer and developer, I worked with a programmer to integrate a Joomla CMS and property management module (JEA) to handle the database of commercial and residential properties online.

The redesign was launched January of 2011, and has seen a significant increase in unique visitor traffic due to the additional Google Adwords campaigns.

The project took a total of four months to complete, and included the following:

  • enhanced search functions through multiple parameters
  • high-quality photography of properties
  • online maintenance request options
  • Google maps geolocation of addressesReRent Old Website
  • property specific email comment form
  • ability for ReRent staff to login and make edits to database with significant ease
